Kofte is a pure Asian dish in which a tasty dish is made by using mincemeat. Now people save time in different ways but in our house they are made in traditional way which is perfect in taste. Let's start the recipe.
Ingredients for Kofftay:
- Mince (mutton) 500 grams
- Ginger paste 1 tbsp
- Garlic 1tbsp
- green chilli 4 to 5
- Poppy seeds soaked in water 3/4 cup
- Salt add to taste
- Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tbsp
- Oil for frying
- Zeera powder 1 tbsp
- Gram masala powder 1 tsp
- Black paper crushed 1 tsp
- Black roasted chickpeas half cup
- 1 egg
- Chopped green corriender 1 cup
Ingredients for curry:
- Chopped Onion 2 medium
- Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- curd 1 cup
- Salt add to taste
- Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Corriender powder 1 tbsp
- Zeera powder 1 tbsp
- Gram masala powder 1 tsp
- Green cardmon 2 to 3
- Oil
Recipe:
First of all we will prepare the koftas, put all the spices of the koftas in the meat chopper and grind them finely, then break the egg into it and mix it and leave it to marinate for some time.By that time the curry is ready, put oil in a pan and keep it hot, then add chopped onion and fry it until it turns brown, then add ginger, garlic and fry some green cardamom. Add curd and add salt, pepper and other spices and fry it well then add 3 glasses of water and keep the broth to cook. Add oil to fry the kofta and keep it hotKeep the oil on medium flame and fry the koftas in the oil.Fry all the koftas and add them to the curry and keep the curry on a low flame.Garnish with cuttahua green coriander and serve with roti and receive compliments.
