Phoebe Copas is a Kentucky lady, who is suspected of fatally shooting her West Texas Uber driver after falsely believing she was being abducted and brought to Mexico, According to authorities.
Copas remained in jail in El Paso, Texas, on Sunday after being charged with murder in the death of 52-year-old Daniel Piedra Garcia last week.

'The path Copas was driving on is a typical route to the Copas' intended destination.
'The investigation does not support an abduction or Piedra deviating from Copas' destination,' officials added.
Copas allegedly snapped a photo of Piedra after the gunshot and emailed it to her boyfriend before calling 911.
Copas was being helped out of the car by her boyfriend when police arrived at approximately 2:20 pm.
She threw everything in her hands, including a brown and silver revolver, on the ground. Copas was seen being hauled away by paramedics in a CBS4 video.
Piedra was discovered slumped over in the driver's seat, having been shot in the head.
He was hospitalised for many days until his family removed him from life support after doctors warned them he would not survive.
Didi Lopez, Piedra's niece, told the El Paso Times, "He was a hardworking man and really funny."
'He was always in a good attitude. He was usually the one who would come over and attempt to cheer you up if he noticed you in a bad mood.'
According to the family, Piedra was on his last journey of the day when he picked up Copas.
'He picked her up, but as time passed, his wife kept phoning and messaging him, and he wouldn't answer his phone. So that's when she began phoning everyone else,' Lopez claimed.
'They began contacting all the hospitals to check whether he was there. Then someone referenced the recent report of an Uber driver getting shot. They phoned the El Paso Police Department and informed them that it was him. As a result, we had to go to the hospital. That's how we discovered it.'
